WTF is Zubbles?

Alright I'm a geek, yes I read Popular Science Magazine. I love to hear about the newest gaget and stuff that I'll never afford. I ran into this little blurb about Colored Bubbles, the blurb turned into a huge story spanning multiple pages throughout the magazine about how it took 10+ years to figure out how to make a soap bubble retain color.

If you think about it, add food coloring to bubble soap, blow your bubbles, the bubble is clear with a dot of color at the bottom of the bubble. It pops and now you have a food coloring stain of that one little dot. The inventor was perplaxed as to w hy colored bubbles can't happen, all bubbles just kept coming out clear with the little squirly rainbows in it as we have all seen our entire lives.

The inventor spent 10+ years trying everything to get the bubbles to retain color, and finally the problem has been solved. They figured it out! The wait is over! We can all be kids again! Now we have ZUBBLES the singlemost coolest invention since 2-ply Toilet paper squares.

The neato thing is Black, Black bubbles. Who has ever heard of Black Bubbles. Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Pink bubbles. Spring of 2006, I can't wait to get my hands on Zubbles!

Job Search Woes

Already I start to feel as if the job search is just pointless. Had a third interview yesterday, thought it went great, the job had some really weird conditions to it, but would have paid pretty decent money, more money than what I was getting paid before I got layed off. They did not call me back, feels kinda crappy. It's probably a good thing, and things do happen for reasons, but it doesn't make you feel good inside to know that they didn't want me in the end.

I had interviews with an IT job placement company, again thinking those went well, but received no calls back, and all calls to them have not been returned.

Was called yesterday by a Home Construction Company for a Systems admin position, was told that I would see an email with interview times to schedule an interview, again no email, no second call, nothing.

It is me, is this the way peeps go about hiring people, or is it just the slow time of the year for hiring people. Let's just hope its not me.
